Freedom Comes When We Slow Down to Trust the Authentic Voice Within
“If I didn’t define myself, I would be crunched into other people’s fantasies for me and eaten alive.” [Audre Lorde]
Daily, we move through our lives without pausing to ask: who am I, what's my story, how am I feeling, what do I need, and how do I choose to respond to this world? If we don't pause to heal, then our wounds will fester. Therapy has the capacity to be that pausing space: a safe, inviting space to move through our stories of wounding to find our empowered self with the guidance of a trained mental health professional.
inMotion Healing's unique therapy philosophy is that each person has healing potential within themselves and the goal is to illuminate that healing source through skillful care.

All are welcome here. inMotion Healing celebrates those that rise above the status quo. At inMotion Healing we are committed to developing and preserving a culture of inclusion and connectedness. Each client is welcome with their unique identities, including their education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, body size & shape, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, color, religion, varying abilities/disabilities, and beliefs. We hold an intersectional approach and see each individual as made up of interlacing identities that impact each other.
We acknowledge the land we occupy as first occupied by the People of the Three Fires: the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Potawatomi people. They have been and continue to be oppressed through genocide and systemic racism. We honor the presence and wisdom of the People of the Three Fires that are alive today on this land, as well as all Native folx on Turtle Island, and their ancestors.
