Freedom Comes When We Slow Down to Trust the Authentic Voice Within

“If I didn’t define myself, I would be crunched into other people’s fantasies for me and eaten alive.” [Audre Lorde] Daily, we can move through our lives without pausing to ask: who am I, what's my story, how am I feeling, what do I need, and how do I choose to respond to this world? If we don't pause to heal, then our wounds will fester and grow. Therapy has the capacity to be this needed pause: a safe, inviting space to move through our stories of wounding and find our empowered self with the guidance of a trained mental health professional. inMotion Healing's therapy philosophy is that each person has healing potential within themselves and the goal is to illuminate that healing source through skillful care.
